Srinagar: A movie of a cricket team from green jersey lip linking the Pakistan national anthem with reverence in a location not far away from Srinagar has really gone viral on societal media alerting the state authorities to launch a probe.
“Yes, we hope to detain them earlier or later. These youth have fled from their houses and we’re going to shortly get them,” Fayaz Lone, SSP Ganderbal told News18. “A speedy analysis is on from the circumstance.”
The movie was though authorities are attempting to get more details in which it was, out of a game which took place between two clubs in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal.
Sources said the game was played in a playground in central Kashmir a couple of days back when separatists had called for a bandh. Colleges and schools were closed.
The players were all sporting the Pakistani jersey and also standing with their palms on their heart since they rendered.
Even the commentator even announced just before this game that the Pakistani national anthem would be performed as a “mark of esteem.” When the anthem was played, both teams stood in focus facing each other across a chain.
“We wanted to reveal fellow Kashmiris that we haven’t forgotten the Kashmir problem, therefore we played with the anthem,” among the players was reported to have said.
The movie clip has gone viral on networking and authorities are now authorities is trying to trace who the organisers and the players were.
